Talented young wicketkeeper Meg Banting is an exciting prospect for the Western Fury with her middle-order batting and skills behind the stumps.
Banting memorably made her State debut as a 14-year old in the Under 15s when WA defeated New South Wales, while she made 86 runs, including a fine 26 in the fifth-place final against South Australia, at the 2012 Under-18 national titles.
The Western Australian was named in the Commonwealth Bank Shooting Stars squad in 2015, travelling to Dubai with the squad to play an England Academy side.
Banting has signed with the Perth Scorchers for the Women's Big Bash League.
