Player Story
Lilly Mills hails from the Sunshine Coast, and started her elite cricket career on the east coast before making the move west searching for greater opportunity.
The off-spinner made her Big Bash debut for Brisbane Heat in WBBL|05 but struggled to break into the main XI, playing just one game in her two seasons at the club.
She made her state debut for Queensland late in the 2020-21 summer and just one week later, took three wickets in the final against Victoria.
Mills was signed by Perth Scorchers in 2021 leading into WBBL|07 and quickly became a core member of their XI, forming a potent spin partnership with leg-spinner Alana King.
She made the move complete a year later ahead of the 2022-23 season, relocating to Perth and signing with Western Australia, and finished as WA’s leading wicket taker that summer with 20 scalps in 12 matches.
