Player Story
Charis Bekker is a promising allrounder from Perth who moved through WA Cricket’s academy programs to debut for Western Australia as a 17-year-old in 2021-22.
Bekker models her game on Ashton Agar and is known to take the game on with her hard-hitting approach, and bowls crafty left-arm orthodox.
The allrounder captained Western Australia at the Under-19 National Championships and was rewarded with selection for the Under-19 T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2023.
Bekker signed a two-year deal with Perth Scorchers in 2022 ahead of WBBL|08 off the back of excellent form with WA and Subiaco-Floreat.
