A small but powerful top-order batter, Tom Rogers got his chance during BBL|11 as Covid ravaged the Melbourne Stars squad. Rogers scored 32 on debut in his sole appearance that season.
He would become a regular for the Stars and by 2023-24 had established himself as one of Victoria’s first-choice one-day batters too, which he rubber-stamped with an astonishing 196 against NSW.
Rogers made his Sheffield Shield debut in the opening match of the 2024-25 season.
