An allrounder who stands at 200cm and weighs in at 95kg, Bazley played all six matches for Australia at the under-19 World Cup, taking nine wickets with his seam bowling and averaging 25 with the bat.
It was enough to earn himself a rookie contract with the Bulls for the 2014-15 and he got a taste of international cricket that summer, representing a Cricket Australia XI in a T20 practice match against South Africa in Sydney.
Bazley made his first-class debut in a tour match for the Cricket Australia XI against the West Indies the following summer, striking an even 50, confirming his status as one of the country's most impressive young allrounders.
