A New South Wales rookie, Lachlan Hearne had a memorable Marsh Sheffield Shield debut by scoring 50 against a strong Queensland attack as a 20-year-old in April 2021.
He earned another three Shield caps and one Marsh Cup appearance the following season, but was soon on the outer at NSW.
The exciting left-handed batter made the move north and strong performances for Toombul in Queensland's Premier Cricket earned him a Bulls contract for the 2024-25 summer.
