A flashy left-handed batter, Ryan Rickelton was 25 when he made his Test debut against Bangladesh in 2022.
While it took him a couple of years to cement his place in the side, Rickelton was instrumental in South Africa's run to the 2023-25 WTC Final with scores of 101 against Sri Lanka and 259 against Pakistan in important victories.
A strong season for MI Cape Town in the SA20 league saw Rickelton earn an IPL contract with Mumbai Indians, scoring 388 in 2025.
