Player Story
Allrounder Hayden Kerr went from unheard of Big Bash star in the space of one very productive season, BBL|11.
Having not played at all the following season, Kerr's left-arm pace proved immensely effective, finishing as the Sydney Sixers' highest wicket-taker (25) as they reached the final of the competition. But Kerr's campaign will be remembered for his blistering 98no off 58 balls against Adelaide Strikers in the Challenger Final, having been promoted to open despite batting the entire tournament at No.8.
Kerr has had a taste of both first-class and List A cricket for NSW but a string of injuries in 2023-24, including an adductor strain, limited his appearances in all three formats.
