A powerful fast bowler, Sully was Australia's new-ball enforcer at the 2020 Under-19 World Cup. But it was his exploits with the bat that proved the most memorable, named his 47-run ninth-wicket partnership with Todd Murphy to drag the Aussies over the line against England.
A Marsh Sheffield Shield debut for Queensland followed 18 months later, taking a wicket with his very first ball, Caleb Jewell caught behind.
After the success of the 2021-22 summer (which saw him play Marsh Cup as well), Sully was upgraded to a full contract with the Bulls.
A string of injuries hampered Sully's progress but the big quick made his Marsh Cup return, after more than two years since his most recent appearance, against South Australia in February 2024.
