Making a name for herself originally as a T20 bowler, Sarah Coyte was a key contributor for Australia across all formats after making her debut in 2010, playing 81 international games.

Coyte burst onto the international scene with 2-18 off four overs in her first T20I to play a pivotal role in the side’s four-wicket victory over New Zealand.

A handy allrounder, Coyte bowls medium-pace swing and is a valuable lower-order batter. 

The Camden, NSW product narrowly missed out on selection in the 2014 ICC World T20 Team of the Tournament despite finishing as the tournament’s third-highest wicket-taker and claiming three scalps in the final.

After helping Australia win back the Ashes in England in 2015, Coyte made the move to South Australia for the 2015-16 WNCL season, signing with the Adelaide Strikers at the same time. 

Coyte walked away from international cricket in 2016, but continued to ply her trade at domestic level. 

She was a core member of Tasmania's WNCL-title winning sides in 2021-22 and 2022-23 before taking on a full-time contract with NSW in 2023-24.

Coyte moved from the Strikers to the Renegades ahead of WBBL|08.
