A former Hampshire scholar, Scott Henry’s finest moment came when he scored an unbeaten double-century for an Invitational XI against the touring Sri Lankans in 2012.
That match came the season after his first-class debut, when he managed to squeeze in to a star-studded NSW side.
He started his one-day career with an innings of 66 against Western Australia on debut in 2012, and backed it up with a further two half-centuries in his next three matches.
A left-handed opening batsman, Henry was a regular feature of NSW’s Sheffield Shield side in the 2013-14 season but was left out of the side for the final against Western Australia in Canberra.
