The clean-hitting powerful Harry Dixon caught the attention of cricket fans after breakout performances for the Australia Under-19s in 2023.
The Victorian left-hander scored 148 against England in Brisbane in his first under-19 series before knocks of 167 and 83 seven months later on a tour of England where he was named player of the series.
This led to a two-year contract with the Melbourne Renegades. He made his debut in his second season with the Renegades in BBL|14. After showing some promising signs with his premier club St Kilda and in his start to BBL including a six and four in his debut knock, Dixon re-signed with the Renegades until the end of BBL|16.
Dixon was also a member of the ICC U19 World Cup-winning Australian side in February 2024, where he played an integral role as an opening batter, scoring the most runs for the Aussies.
Dixon scored 66 runs featuring three sixes in his maiden Sheffield Shield innings on debut against Tasmania on February 9, 2025 at age 19.
