Paris Bowdler made headlines in 2022 when she received a call-up to the Melbourne Renegades playing XI as an uncontracted teenager.
A wicket-keeper-batter who played for Prahran in Victorian Premier Cricket, Bowdler was familiar to Renegades coaching staff through the ‘Renegades Recruit’ program.
Bowlder, a massive Alyssa Healy fan, played a crucial role in helping Victoria Country to the Grand Final of the Under-19 National Champs in 2022-23 and was rewarded with Australia selection for the Under-19 T20 World Cup.
Shortly after, she earned a state contract with ACT Meteors and signed a WBBL contract with Sydney Thunder ahead of WBBL|09.
