Captain of the Cricket Australia XI for the 2016 Matador Cup, Bosisto scored his maiden Sheffield Shield century against Victoria at the MCG in 2015. 

Bosisto is part of an assembly line of emerging talent that is developing in the west. He was pencilled in as a possible future captain of the state side after an impressive showing at the under-19 World Cup.

The right-handed batsman has shown maturity beyond his years throughout his buddying career.

The under-19 World Cup has been the catalyst for many of the world’s elite cricketers. If Bosisto wants to be a future Australian star, then he certainly aced his audition.

Bosisto played in six matches throughout the tournament; all of which were held in Townsville. He amassed 276 runs, and incredibly was only dismissed once.

He smashed 71* against Bangladesh, before a valiant 87* in the Final against India, but it was all in vain as the tourists won with 14-balls remaining.

On the back of his heroic efforts with the bat, Bosisto was named Player of the Tournament.

He has made one first-class century to go along with three list-A fifties.
