Annie O’Neil is a powerful batter who can also bowl handy leg-spin.
Prior to gaining her first State contract in 2017-18, Annie O’Neil captained the South Australian Under-18s side for two consecutive National Championships.
The right-hand batter also made Sturt Cricket Club’s highest score for any player (man or woman) when she made 242 off 144 balls in a 50-over Premier Cricket match in 2017, which is also one of the world’s highest women’s scores.
Hailing from Murray Bridge, O’Neil made her South Australia debut in 2019 and has been a member of the Scorpions squad ever since.
She earned a Strikers debut in WBBL|05.
