Summer of cricket ticket guide: All you need to know

With the first ever day-night Test match to be played, fans will have the option of purchasing a new 'Twilight ticket' to take advantage

The introduction of a 'Twilight ticket' for the Adelaide Test match is one of the key features for fans to look out for as tickets for the summer of cricket go on sale this week.

The city of churches will host a historic day-night Test match – to be played with pink Kookaburra balls – between Australia and New Zealand starting on Friday, November 27.

Quick Single: Historic day-night Test for Adelaide

Each day's play is scheduled to commence at 2pm local time, however, fans looking to attend after work or school will be able to make the most of the 'Twilight ticket' to watch the final two sessions of the day.

Access to the venue will be restricted until 4pm with the second session of the day's play scheduled to begin at 4:20pm.

Adult pricing for the twilight tickets will start at $20.39 for eligible members of the Australian Cricket Family – more on that below – compared with $30.59 for a full day ticket.

Full details on pricing, seating maps and other ticketing information can be accessed here

See below for a summary of the key information to help you get to the cricket this summer. If there's a question you have that's not answered in the match-day guide or below, hit us up on Twitter: @CricketAus.

Who is coming out to play the Aussies?

The Aussie men will take on New Zealand and West Indies in Test match cricket, as well as India in five one-day internationals and three Twenty20 internationals.

The Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars will also take on India in the limited-overs formats, including three T20s that will be played as double-headers with the men. Full fixture here. http://www.cricket.com.au/fixtures

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for the 2015-16 international season will be available for purchase by the general public on Friday August 21 at 10am local time for the state where the match is being held. Head to cricket.com.au/tickets to get started.

How do I get tickets before the general public?

If you don't want to worry about sleeping in after the overnight action at The Oval, eligible members of the Australian Cricket Family living in Australia will have access to a priority period from midday on Wednesday August 19 through to 5pm on August 20.

As well as special access to tickets, ACF members will be able to purchase tickets at a discounted price compared to those pre-purchased by the general public and at-the-gate.

How do I find out my ACF membership number?

To purchase tickets during the priority period, you're going to need to know your membership number. You can check your ACF details by calling the hotline on 1300 720 742, e-mailing acf@cricket.com.au with your request, or simply referring to your ACF e-mails in your inbox that will have your membership number displayed.

OK, but I want tickets NOW!

Well, you're in luck. All you need to do is get the band back together and organise a group of 10 or more for a day, or days, out at the cricket. For more info, CLICK HERE.
