The 10-team National U17 Boys Championships will begin from Thursday, 16 January in Tasmania. The Tournament will be played in eight different venues with the finals scheduled on 23 January.
Five matches will be played on each day of the eight-day tournament, allowing young players to showcase their skills during the school holidays.

Meanwhile, NSW Metro has clinched the recently concluded National U16 Girls Championship. The eight-day tournament commenced on 6th January in Ballarat with Julien Shiloh from NSW Metro named as the player of the tournament.
Sarah Burton from Victoria Country with 17 wickets @ an average of 14.82 was the leading wicket taker while Lucy Fletcher from Victoria Metro was the leading run-scorer of the tournament with finishing on 344 runs with 3 x 50’s @ average of 43.
