Additional tour matches have also been announced for the summer with the Prime Minister’s XI and Governor-General’s XI matches scheduled for December and January respectively.
Highlights include:

Peter Roach, Cricket Australia's Head of Cricket Operations & Scheduling, said:
"I'm delighted to announce a full summer of domestic cricket competitions, including the time-honoured battles of the Marsh Sheffield Shield and Marsh One-Day Cup, as well as the WNCL where the depth and quality of players continues to improve each year.
"The outstanding performances of our world champion Australian Men's and Women's teams continue to be underpinned by the strength of our domestic cricket, with several young stars emerging from elite domestic competitions in recent times, as well as players fighting their way back to national honours after strong domestic performances.
"We are also confident that scheduling games at a mixture of major stadiums and smaller venues will provide the best possible experiences for players and fans. This will include the first game at the Cricket Central facility in Sydney Olympic Park.
“We look forward to the beginning of our domestic season on September 22, and thank all our partners, including Marsh, Foxtel and Kayo for their ongoing support."
Nick Harris, President of insurance broker and competition naming rights partner Marsh Pacific, said:
“We are proud to partner with Cricket Australia and thrilled to see the line-up that’s in store for the country this summer.
“The Marsh One-Day Cup and Marsh Sheffield Shield allow some of the world’s most outstanding cricket talent to push the boundaries of possibility on the field and bring the Australian community together.
"As the Official Risk Partner of Cricket Australia, Marsh looks forward to once again helping ensure that hundreds of thousands of spectators, officials and players around Australia get to experience a thrilling and action-packed summer of cricket."
