State awards wrap 2021-22: All the winners

A comprehensive wrap of all the award winners from every state after an incredible summer of cricket in Australia

Another summer of cricket is done and dusted, and it was Western Australia that dominated the domestic competitions, taking home four of the five trophies on offer.

The Perth Scorchers Women kicked it off in November by winning the Weber WBBL before their men followed suit by claiming the KFC BBL crown in January, becoming the most successful team in the history of the competition with four titles.

WA men then won the Marsh One-Day Cup in a thriller against NSW in March before they capped off the summer by winning the state's first Marsh Sheffield Shield title in 23 years.

The Tasmanian Tigers were the other winners this season, claiming their first Women's National Cricket League title with a thumping nine-wicket victory against South Australia Scorpions at Blundstone Arena.

The domestic summer began in late September and ran until April 4 with players, coaches and officials again having to navigate the unknowns of the pandemic.

Drought broken! WA lift Shield title after 23-year wait

Victoria and NSW men's sides only played against each other before Christmas due to the state border closures, while several BBL games were postponed and rescheduled.

Floods in Queensland also curtailed the first day of the Shield clash against South Australia and the WNCL was postponed in early January due to nationwide COVID-19 outbreaks.

With the team titles wrapped up, five of the six states has now handed out their individual awards.
