In-form quick Jackson Bird has helped bowl Tasmania to a JLT Sheffield Shield win over South Australia late on the final day in Hobart.
Rain and a stubborn Callum Ferguson century threatened to deny the Tigers at Bellerive Oval but Bird struck twice in the shadows of stumps.
Set a mammoth 403 for victory, the Redbacks were bowled out for 213.
Players were forced from the field for almost two hours in Friday's third session with SA teetering at 7-192.
Once they returned, Bird (4-65) had Nick Winter (26) edging before trapping Ferguson plumb in front for 111.
Paceman Gabe Bell (3-44) claimed the final wicket to complete a 189-run win and give him seven scalps for the match.
Resuming at 1-16, South Australia lost regular wickets throughout the day including Test incumbent Travis Head for just 11 - his final knock before joining the Australian squad for the first Test against India.
Ferguson, though, was a steady hand and brought up his 18th first-class ton with a straight drive late in the day.
The Redbacks were rolled for just 136 in their first innings, in reply to Tasmania's 185.
The Tigers got further ahead on day three, posting 8-353(dec) headlined by a patient 113 from Jordan Silk and runs to veteran George Bailey.
Bailey hit 63 after last week stepping down from the Shield captaincy to focus on fixing his ailing batting.
