Hosts again mix up batting order as rampant England look to spoil Australia Day party
Head replaces Finch, Aussies bowl first
Australia have won the toss and will bowl first in the fourth Gillette Series ODI at Adelaide Oval.
Australia are set to open the batting with the recalled Travis Head in place of the injured Aaron Finch, while Glenn Maxwell, who was flown in as cover for the batting group, will not make his eagerly-anticipated return to the XI.
Western Australian Andrew Tye also comes into the side, with Mitchell Starc rested.
For England, youngster Tom Curran comes in for the injured Liam Plunkett.
Head made a century opening the batting in an ODI on Australia Day a year ago in a record 284-run stand with David Warner, and after an indifferent opening to the series, will be desperate to take the opportunity today.
"It was an exceptionally special day, to play my first one-day fixture in Adelaide and then to open the batting and to be able to get some runs," Head said in reflecting on his 2017 triumph.
"And looking back on the series (last year), I probably wasn't playing as well as I would have liked going into that fixture.
"If I get my opportunity tomorrow hopefully I can do the same, it's a beautiful batting wicket and there's plenty of runs out there.
"I feel like I've been playing well in the Big Bash, but I'm pretty disappointed with the way I've started in this series.
"I know it's there I've just got to try and find it."
England lead the series 3-0 and are hunting their first-ever five-nil whitewash against the Aussies - something no team has ever inflicted against the five-time world champs in their own backyard.
"It's a team that other countries almost want to emulate as much as they can, and that's something we're very proud of," allrounder Moeen Ali said yesterday.
"The way we play, we see that as a big thing actually.
"And to be three-nil up here, (in the Gillette Series), I think for the first time ever, is fantastic and we're really determined to win this five-nil."
