Not one, but two tall members of the Edwards family have been snapped up by the Sydney Sixers
Sixers sign Edwards brothers for BBL|07
Cult hero Mickey Edwards could make his KFC Big Bash League debut this summer after the Sydney Sixers announced they've re-signed the towering quick for the coming season.
And he might not be the only tall curly-haired member of the Edwards family to turn out in magenta this summer, with the Sixers also confirming his younger brother Jack will be their development rookie for BBL|07.
Mickey, the elder sibling at 22, immediately became a crowd favourite last summer when he filled in as a substitute fielder for Australia during the SCG Test and earned roaring applause every time he went near the ball.

The right-armer has suffered numerous back injuries in recent years but now fit, Sixers coach Greg Shipperd believes he's ready to make an impact for the Sydney club this summer.
"Our bowling stocks have received a boost with the re-signing of emerging young paceman Mickey Edwards who showed some eye-catching rhythm and pace in the recent JLT series," Shipperd said.
"T20 bowling demands the ability to bowl under pressure and through three quite individual phases of the game we know that Mickey has that relaxed and calm demeanour and displays the requisite appetite to compete at this level.
"Swing bounce and pace are skills he can deliver we are keen for him to join our young group including Sean Abbott, Ben Dwarshuis and Henry Thornton."
Jack Edwards, a fraction shorter than his older brother at 195cm, is a promising allrounder and was one of the shining lights for Australia's Under-19 side during their series against Sri Lanka earlier this year.
The 17-year-old struck a century in a three-day match against Sri Lanka while he made 85 in an intra-squad game with NSW's senior squad in September.
"Looking to the future I can see the 'brothers in arms' in magenta creating great headaches for opposition teams in the BBL," said Shipperd.
"Jack at this stage is more of a top order specialist batsman, shaping as one of NSW best young talents.
"I have also seen his lively medium pace deliveries which are pushing him into the allrounder category, a blessing for team structures.
"We welcome Jack into our fold and expect him to learn rapidly surrounded by some serious cricketers who are happy to share their knowledge with him."
