The Perth Scorchers have comfortably accounted for the Australian Legends XI in the WA Festival of Cricket by 42 runs at Aquinas College on Friday afternoon.
The Scorchers posted a mammoth total of 8-231 from their 20 overs, led by Ashton Agar and David Willey.
Agar top scored with 44 from 25 balls, while new English import Willey crunched three sixes on his way to 39 off 15 deliveries.
Matt Dixon claimed two wickets as the Scorchers easily defended the score, while Ashton Turner took the prize scalp of coach Justin Langer, playing for the Legends.
West Indies great Brian Lara posted a classy 54 from 27 balls, including five sixes, while Andrew Symonds scored 47no.
Agar was named Player of the Match for the Scorchers.
