Video: Indoor player takes triple hat-trick
You've heard of a hat-trick, you may have even heard of a double hat-trick, but how about a triple hat-trick - five wickets in five balls?
This remarkable feat was achieved by Victorian U-13 captain Jake Fraser-McGurk in a match against Western Australia at the Australian Junior Indoor Cricket Championships in Brisbane this week.
The first five balls of the leg-spinner's over were wickets before the final delivery went for a single, meaning minus -24 were registered from the over.
The third of the five wickets in the sequence was a run out, but the rules of the indoor game dictate that run outs are awarded to the bowler - unlike in the outdoor game - meaning Fraser-McGurk registered a triple hat-trick
The Australian Junior Championships, featuring the best under age indoor players in the country, wrap up this weekend.
