Yuvraj Singh has always had the ability to do special things, but it was not until the 2011 World Cup that he did it consistently spectacularly on a global stage.
After being dropped the previous year, he was soon the Player of the Tournament. In his World Cup-winning collection there were 362 runs from his powerful, fluent strokeplay, and he backed that up with 15 wickets with his left-arm spin.
He has more than 8500 runs in ODI cricket and has made 14 centuries.
Yuvraj made his Test debut against New Zealand in 2003, but managed only three centuries in those 40 games.
He has made more that 1000 T20I runs with a high-score of 77-not-out but his most memorable moment in that format came when he hit six sixes in an over off Stuart Broad in 2007.
