Stars pair Adam Zampa and Tom Triffitt given the all clear after an on-field collision in Albury
Zampa holds catch despite nasty collision
Melbourne Stars pair Adam Zampa and Tom Triffitt are nursing sore heads after a nasty on-field collision during their KFC Big Bash League warm-up against the Sydney Thunder in Albury.
Zampa and Triffitt were both focused on a skied shot from Thunder batsman Jay Lenton when they collided at full pelt in the outfield at Lavington Oval.
Incredibly, Zampa still held on to the catch, sending Lenton on his way for 13.
Fortunately for both players they were soon standing and walking off the ground, where they were given the all clear by Melbourne Stars medical staff.
