What happened in last year’s Domestic One-Day Cup?

Cameron White was the standout with the bat, notching 457 runs at the impressive average of 76.16 with two centuries, while emerging South Australian young gun Cameron Valente, along with experienced New South Wales duo Doug Bollinger and Pat Cummins, each took 15 wickets to top the wicket-takers list. Nathan Lyon’s 4-10 earned him player of the final honours, while Moises Henriques made 85 as New South Wales claimed their second consecutive 50-over title, defeating Queensland by six wickets.

What’s the ‘Cricket Australia XI’?

In addition to the six states, a Cricket Australia XI will feature for a third consecutive year. The team is made up of the best young players in the country along with some experienced players who missed selection for their state squads. The CA XI will be coached by former Australia opening batsman Matthew Elliot.

Who are the players to watch?

This year’s JLT One-Day Cup series will showcase some of the best up-and-coming Australian stars and limited-overs prospects, as well as provide an opportunity for Ashes aspirants to put their name in front of the selectors with dominant performances.
